Leicester Planning Commission Meeting Wednesday, August 9, 20176:02 P.M.*Unapproved*** See subsequent minutes for any changes Members Present: Peter Fjeld, Jeff McDonough, Suki Fredericks, Bill Shouldice Members Absent: Donna Swinington Others Present: Sandra Trombley, Secretary Call to Order/Roll Call: Meeting called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Chair and roll call. Review Agenda: Reviewed agenda. Approval of Minutes July 26, 2017: Motion by Jeff and second by Suki to approve minutes of July 26, 2017 as written. All in favor. So, approved. Working Session Revising Town Plan: Suki asked about the Native American Heritage sites. She thought it would be nice to mention it under the Historic Resources page. She will do the homework and do a sentence or two for the Historic Resources section. Old Business: Energy Plan: Board continued to review and edit the draft plan document. Diane will share with Julie the changes in the Energy Plan. Emergency Management & Clean Water: Diane shared information about the Statute for Water Resources and Flood Resiliency. The town has a Local Emergency Operation Plan, a Hazard Mitigation Plan, has identified most likely areas of flooding, sources of funding and training and what all of this means to the Town for future funding if any flooding happens. Next Steps: To finish by adding the Energy Plan and to add the verbiage that Suki will complete about State Designated Native American Historical Sites.
