Planning Commission Meeting Tuesday, February 24, 20157:00 P.M.*Unapproved*** See subsequent minutes for any changes Members Present: Peter Fjeld, Chair, Donna Swinington, Jeff McDonough, Bill Shouldice Others Present: Sandra Trombley, Secretary Call to Order/Roll Call: Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair and roll call. Review Agenda: Approval of Minutes of December 30, 2014: Motion by Jeff and second by Peter to approve minutes of December 30, 2014. All in favor. So approved. New Business: None Old Business: Working Session on Zoning Regulation Revisions: Peter mentioned that they will need to have a public meeting at some point for public input. Bill asked about why they went from 70 pages to 130 pages. Bill thought maybe the difference in the way the old regulations are written and the way the new one is written is part of it; along with a larger font. Donna mentioned that there is more about FEMA and Flood Plain regulations. Some concern about the cost of printing. Hopefully there will be some grant money for printing. The new zoning regulations can be put on the web-site. Bill was wondering whether all the solar and wind energy project information needs to be printed. Bill and Peter had reviewed the draft document, but Donna and Jeff had not had a chance to review the draft. The Board went thru some of the document and condensed some of the document and recommended to reformat. Telecommunication was reviewed. More editing was done and several pages were able to be omitted. Peter recommended that everyone take the draft home and review and make any necessary changes/recommendations for the March 10 meeting.
