Present: Donna Swinington, Jeff McDonough, Jay Michael, Lyndsay D'Avignon, Julie Delphia, Diane Benware
Meeting called to order by Chair Donna Swinington at 6:03 p.m., followed by roll call.
Julie had three documents for us:
1. A Town Plan version that represents the work that Lyndsay did, recording our text edits, minus photos or graphs.
2. A stream-lined version that Julie created with assistance from AI. This version was policy driven, survived an Act 250 scrutiny, met state statutes and Act 181 certification.
3. Energy Plan to date (waiting on an update from Jolyon)
Julie sent a small portion that had been run through AI, to Katie at ACRPC.
Her only comment was "to compare it to statute". We were hoping for more helpful feedback.
Discussion about goals and implementation for the plan, no necessary for each section.
Homework is to compare versions one and two, determine what we may want to keep from version one, remembering what is REQUIRED.
Diane, as a member of the Local Government Committee of ACRPC, whose task is to review and recommend adoption of the county towns' plans, offered to bring both versions to Adam and to get his preliminary reaction.
Diane will also ask Adam again about Jolyon's latest work on the Energy Plan. If necessary, we will get draft copy (Word or PDF) and with the statutory
mandates, we will create our own Energy Plan.
Thank you to Julie and to Lyndsay for all the work you have done thus far on the Town Plan.
