Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Friday, October 28, 2016

Members Present:  Peter Fjeld, Chair, Donna Swinington, Jeff McDonough, Tom Drew
Members Absent:  Bill Shouldice
Others Present:  Sandra Trombley, Secretary
Call to Order/Roll Call:  Meeting called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chair and roll call. 
The Board welcomed Tom Drew to the Board.
Review Agenda:  Reviewed agenda. 
Approval of Minutes of October 11, 2016:
Motion by Jeff and second by Donna to approve minutes of October 11, 2016.  3 in favor.  1 abstention (Tom).   So approved.
New Business: 
Permit application #20-16-ZBA for set-back waiver to replace existing 56 x 14 mobile home with new 28 x 48 double wide on slab foundation for landowner Amy Quenneville, 1046 Shackett Road on Parcel # 030015.21 in Zoning District Residential/Agricultural.
Chair read the public warning.  There were no conflicts of interest on the Board.  No interested parties were present.  Secretary received no communication from adjoining property owners.  The Zoning Administrator did not share any concerns.
Board reviewed the application and site sketch plan.  According to the site plan, the garage remains unchanged.  Southern end of driveway will be discontinued.  She shows that she would like to reposition existing 6x8 entry porch and reposition and expand existing 8x10 covered porch with 6x20 covered porch.  The existing mobile home is surrounded by steep banks and dense forest limiting options for placement therefore requesting a set-back waiver.  If necessary, there will be a retaining wall with drainage in front.

There were no other questions from the Board. 
Motion by Jeff and second by Donna to approve the set back waiver as presented.  No restrictions other than; it must be completed as substantially shown on the plan.  All in favor.  So approved.

Motion by Jeff and second by Donna to adjourn ZBA meeting at 6:12 p.m. to go into Planning Commission meeting.  All in favor.  So approved.
