Present: R. Oliver, K. Young, T. Barker, R. Fiske, D. Benware (recorder)
Others: Julie Delphia, Arlan Pidgeon, Willy from D & F, rep from Pike
Paving
Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. by the Chair.
Requests for bids for paving were sent to 5 companies and responses were
received from 4.
A. Marcelino did not respond.
Bid prices range from $65.00 to $72.00 per ton., subject to change.
Most companies, with the exception of D & F,
use recycled asphalt (RAP), up to 25% of total. Board members were unsure
about
the use of RAP.
Motion by Tom to deliberate further and get more information, to decide
Monday evening, April 5.
Ken seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Bills were approved.
A weight permit was signed.
Bob made the motion that residents of the Town of Leicester should not be
required
to obtain a weight permit for their trucks. Tom seconded that motion,
which passed
unanimously.
Ron made the motion to adjourn at 4:50 p.m., second by Bob.
Next regular meeting is April 5.
