Cemetery Minutes 7/17/14
BROOKSIDE CEMETERY COMMITTEE Thursday, July 17, 2014 Present: Tom Barker, Ron Fiske and Donna Pidgeon. Also present, Julie Delphia. Absent: Donna Swinington, Audrey Scarborough The meeting was called to order by Chair Tom Barker at 6:40 P.M. Minutes of May 15, 2014 and June 19. 2012 were approved, unanimous. The Town Clerk, Julie Delphia, told the Committee that we must comply with the new open meeting law. The Committee officially designated the Agenda to be posted on the Town bulletin board and at the Town Shed. Tom Barker reported that he had not heard from Don Durkee yet in reference to cleaning stones. Julie presented a form for the receipts of plot donations. The Committee agreed unanimously to have Julie request Selectboard approval to speak with the Town Attorney for proper wording of the plot forms. The Committee also agreed unanimously to request the Selectboard to approve the donation request of $350 per plot for residents and $500 for immediate family residents past or present. Tom and Ron will also discuss with the Selectboard about some changes in the Brookside Cemetery Resolution that was created by the Selectboard at meetings on April 28, 2005 and May 16, 2005. Donna Pidgeon will ask Arlan when he will be able to bush hog the fence line. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 pm.
