TOWN OF LEICESTER BOARD OF ABATEMENT HEARINGS
The Board of Abatement for the Town of Leicester will be meeting on the following dates and times in the Leicester Town Office.

Abatement Request:

- Abatement was requested for penalties and interest since 2014.
- Abatement request states Ms. Newton works paycheck to paycheck.
- Abatement request states Ms. Newton pays property tax with her income tax refund, which is less than the property tax amount.
- Abatement request states that Ms. Newton does not have an issue with paying tax, just penalties and interest.
- Ms. Newton attached a Delinquent Tax Notice indicating delinquent amounts for 2024 and 2024 Tax bill.
- On the Delinquent tax notice, Ms. Newton circled the penalty and interest totaling $218.28.
- No other evidence provided.
- Ms. Newton did not attend.
