Special Selectboard Meeting Minutes
Monday, July 31, 2023

Members Present: Diane Benware, Brad Lawes, John Rouse, Tom Barker, Diane Randall (phone)
Others Present: Julie Delphia, Arlan Pidgeon, Robbie Devoid, Chree Perkins, Sandra Trombley
Call to Order:  Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair.
Pledge of Allegiance:
Review of Agenda Added bills and weight permit to agenda.
Review/Authorization to Pay Bills:
Motion by Brad and second by Tom authorizing Julie to pay the bills.  All in favor.  So, approved.
Reports from Town Officials, Committees:
Town Clerk/Treasurer:
Julie recommends going into Executive Session for some of the agenda items that may lead to possible legal action.
Road Foreman:
Arlan reported he will open Lower Bullock Road tomorrow.
Tom mentioned a pot hole as you come over the railroad bridge on Old Jerusalem Road where they had put in a culvert years ago.  Arlan will take care of that tomorrow; as well.
Tom mentioned a mess of trees hung up under the railroad bridge.
Tom asked if Arlan could weed whack around the Town Shed.
Tom mentioned a limb hanging over the road where Moore’s used to live.  If you meet a truck there, the limb will stick in the side of your car.  
Diane asked if the ditching done near Hannah and Greg’s gets stoned.  Arlan stated he is going to seed it.
Tom mentioned that the speed sign hasn’t been working on a regular basis.
John thinks they might need to move the sign because it’s not in a very good location for sunlight.
Weight Permit:  
One weight permit was signed.
Executive Session:
Motion by John and second by Tom to go into Executive Session at 6:36 p.m. for updates and possible legal action.  All in favor.  So, approved.
Motion by Tom and second by Brad to come out of Executive Session at 7:44 p.m. with no action taken.
Motion by Tom and second by John to adjourn at 7:44 p.m.  All in favor.  So, approved.
