MINUTES OF SPECIAL SELECTBOARD MEETING

Called to order at 7:02 p.m by the Chair.
Flag salute recited and two items on agenda noted.
Setting the Tax Rate for 2007
The rate of $1.1722 for residential rate and $1.2495 for non-residential rate was accepted on a motion made by Tom, second by Bob. It was accepted/adopted unanimously.
Feasibility Study Results
Introductions were made and a brief history of the process was shared. Heather presented maps and a detailed report of soil conditions, etc. of land owned by Frank Nicklaw and same for land owned by Don Delorm. Copies of her report were distributed and each Selectboard member has a copy to review. Formal comments and recommendations will be made to Dubois and King at the Sept. 17 Board meeting. A final draft of the feasibility study will be turned into ACRPC after Sept. 30. Community members were encouraged to contact Board members with comments.
Motion to adjourn made by Tom at 7:45 p.m., second by Bob.
Mike Denis reported that the grader blade no longer lifts when needed and that the valves are "shot". Considerable work will be needed on the grader to repair it.
