Comments: John Quelch complimented Pil Letourneau for very good work in 2007. Board concurred with John's assessment of work done. Although Mr. Germain did look at the cemetery (in the snow) he did not review the specs for the job and it was felt that he did not have an adequate understanding of the job.
ACTION: Bob made the motion, Tom the second to offer the mowing of the cemetery to Phil Letourneau, at $150 per mow and spring and fall cleanup of $800. Motion passed unanimously. John Quelch to contact Phil. Also: John Quelch will continue to donate his time and effort to mulch, pick weeds, etc. for the front of the cemetery. Thank you, John.

Total $1,350
4. Calvin Loven of Leicester (did the work '06 and '07)

Total estimated at about $3,400
Comments: It was noted that Calvin has done a very good job of maintaining the Green. Mr. Germain did not review the specs and did not indicate a cost for spring and fall cleanup. Cal's proposal reflects no increase in costs from last year.
ACTION: Tom made the motion, Bob the second, to continue to offer the mowing of the Green to Calvin Loven, at $70 per mow and $500 for cleanup. Motion passed unanimously. Chair to contact Cal. Cal's insurance and employment info is on file at the office.

1. Lem Palmer of Leicester
$48/hour for mowing, both first and second times
ACTION: Tom made the motion, Bob the second to offer the roadside
mowing to Lem Palmer, at a cost to not exceed $48 per hour.
Motion passed unanimously.
Chair to contact Lem. His certificate of liability was enclosed.
Other:
John Hughes raised the question as to how a member's absence is handled in terms of missing an Executive Session. Do we fill them in on what they missed? If subsequent action must be taken, can the person who missed a vital session still vote on the issue? This issue is one to take to the Sec. of State or legal counsel.
Given that the issues this evening were not pressing, in terms of decisions to be made, the Executive Session was postponed until the next meeting.
ACTION: Tom made the motion, Bob the second, to set aside the Executive Session deliberation until the next meeting, when it is hoped more members will be in attendance. Motion passed unanimously.
Motion to adjourn at 7:44 p.m. made by Tom , second by Bob. Meeting adjourned.
Next regular meeting Mon,. Feb. 4, at 7:00 p.m.
